George Parka

The George Parka is a timeless and functional jacket designed for everyday use. It is completely water and windproof with taped seams and made from a breathable material, making it ideal for all weather conditions. The parka has a straight fit and is equipped with a fixed and adjustable hood for extra protection.

The front closure consists of a two-way zip and a placket with buttons for additional protection against the elements. The cuffs can be adjusted with Velcro for a perfect fit. The jacket features practical side pockets with zips and an inner pocket with a zip for secure storage.

Do not dry cleanTake care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Not waterproof - This garment is not waterproof and will not repel rain.

Water-repellent - This garment is water-repellent and will repel light rain for a short length of time.

Below is a simple summary of which garments have insulating properties. The warmth scale is based on a number of factors such as weight of padding, type of padding, length, and construction of the garment.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Warm - This garment is warm and has insulating properties with a padding level between 100-140 g/m².

Extra warm - This garment is extra warm and has highly insulating properties with a padding level between 160-300 g/m².Breathability

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

No breathability - This garment has a low capacity for transporting moisture in the form of water vapour, which means that you may experience a damp, clammy feeling if you plan to wear the garment for any significant level of physical activity.

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.
